Over the past 17 years we have been called upon to provide calibration samples in a variety of materials, to a variety of industries. Each and every industry has its own set of peculiarities and oddities.
The individual requirements for calibrations samples within each industry are so widely different from each other that it is difficult for companies to locate that special vendor that not only understands the need for precision calibration flaws, but also is flexible enough to deal with a new game each day.
That's exactly what our business is!
Challenges are what we love, and flexibility is how we succeed. To some of our technicians, the tougher the set-up the better the project. We do a lot of repeat business and have an abundance of experience in routine production standards, but our real strength is tackling the unusual.
On any given day our shop could contain a big-gun shell casing from the Navy, or General Electric might have sent us a giant turbine blade from a steam generator, or maybe we are working on a nuclear reactor stud, or a child's swing-set manufacturer has a problem with their structural tubing.
Perhaps an automaker has sent us a special driveline needing a unique flaw, or a plastic plant has just delivered a 10,000# pressure flange needing some one-of-a-kind ID samples, or a national research lab needs a special flaw manufactured in a proprietary product design they are working on.
