The difference between TDS and other software products is due to the fact it was developed by pipe people and not by administrative personnel. Our people have actually been responsible for the day-to-day operations of pipe yards and service companies.

Our Management:

Danny Uselton, the president of our company has been working with OCTG material in one way or another for more than 32 years.

He spent time as a materials expeditor for a major independent oil company where he learned the OCTG management needs of the end users. He moved through the purchasing departments and gained experience in how OCTG pipe brokers and mills interacted with the customer - and how each had their own specific set of issues for there respective businesses concerning the management of OCTG materials.

Later he joined a large independent pipe inspection company and developed his skills in the management and control of OCTG materials. He successfully operated a full service pipe inspection and tubing reclamation facility in Odessa, Texas, and spent almost 10 years focusing on the subtleties of used pipe. Inspection, handling, trucking, colors, conditions, purposes, and repair are all fundamental to him.

In 1991 he moved to Houston, Texas, the pipe capitol of the world, to become equally well versed in the workings of new OCTG materials. It is here that he was finally able to put it all together and by combining all his knowledge and experience (and by having available the council and experience of many other trusted colleagues) he formed a vision of the ultimate OCTG pipe
