WinDump-It is a software program that allows you to store all of the normal information about your tallies in a database that you can use to keep track of simple information such as individual joint length and cumulative footage—information found on basic tally sheets. However, a WinDump-It database can store much more information than found on a typical sheet. In fact, WinDump-It let you customize the kinds of information about a tally that you can put into a WinDump-It database: storing records to retrieve tally information on purchase orders, trucks, trailers, loading crews, customers and much more.
What can you do with WinDump-It?
In addition to storing information about your tallies, you can perform many tasks that will help you manage your day-to-day tally transactions. For example, you can create blank tallies for pending work orders you are expecting to finish in the near future. Or you can create one master tally in which you can up-load multiple tallies taken over a several day period. Or you can track tallies by specific qualifiers that are unique to your company.
Keep old tallies filed in your computer
You can keep all your tallies stored in an archived job section of the WinDump-It. If you ever need to recall a tally, you can search for a specific tally. For example, you can recall all tallies from a specific rack. Or recall all tallies loaded onto a specific truck. Or all tallies created under a specific work order.
Add information to your tallies
WinDump-It gives you unparalleled ability to add information to your tallies at any time after they are up-loaded into the program from a Tally-Rite Measuring System. For example, you can add heat numbers. Or you can attach a single joint identification to a specific tally.
Edit Values
WinDump-It lets you edit your tallies after they have been up-loaded from a Tally-Rite Measuring System. For example, you can correct lengths that have been tallied incorrectly. Or you can delete joints that were tallied but not shipped.
Export Data
WinDump-It lets you export your tally data to other computer programs such as inventory control software in ASCII or Microsoft Excel formats
